Volkswagen: Jetta 2006 2.0T Air conditioning not cooling, coffee machine, refrigerant

I have a Jetta 2006 2.0T and when I turn on the AC it doesnt cool, it just recycles the air, and after 5-10 sec's it make a noise like a coffee machine with low water not that noisy but it doesn't cool at all...

Hi Enrique,

If your VW is a 2006, it should still be under warranty by the dealer.   They should fix it, at little or no cost to you.

If for some reason they will not:

Your system is low on refrigerant.   You can go to the store and buy a kit to recharge it for about $20.00.  (In the USA)

It is a simple operation.

However, be careful before you work on it.  If the car is warrantied and you attempt a repair on it, the dealership could deny a repair.
