Volkswagen: 2002 Golf 4 Gti Wont Start, golf 4 gti, intake pipes

My Golf Will Not Start, When I Crank It, she Just Won't start And I Get Alot Of Petrol Smell.
Prior To this, Both Turbo air intake pipes were torn, I drove the car for a day with the torn pipes and one morning, she did not want to start,i got the car towed in for repairs, They replaced the pipes and started the engine,i got the car back for 2 days and all of a sudden today it does'nt want to start again

Hi Zubair,

When those rubber tubes crack/break it allows a lot of petrol into the oil, and often fouls your spark plugs.


The most-likely fix for this problem is:

a) Replace the spark-plugs.

b) Change the oil.


This should do the trick, and you will be motoring along in no time.
