Volkswagen: vw bus 1986 fuel hoses, vw vanagon, fuel hoses

Question
My 1986 VW vanagon bus, has a fuel leak (hose is rotted), can I just replace THAT hose or will it be more involved, than that?

Answer
Hi Jeri,

I think you should replace all of the rubber fuel lines.   You must use "Fuel Injection" hose, which will handle high pressure, for your 1986 Vanagon.

If you do the project yourself, it should cost under E50.

Here is a good place to find the hose:

I would not want you to have another leak, and perhaps a fire.

It is most safe to replace all.

Good Luck
