Volkswagen: 1997 Jetta AC not draining, ac evaporator, glove box

I too have a problem of the AC evaporator leaking water into the passenger compartment.   But where do I find the drain...I assume it's inside the car, but which part of the dash do I need to take apart?  The glove box area or the center console area or both or somewhere else?

the air con drain is located underneath and behind the glovebox close to the centre console. you may need to remove the glovebox. also is the area under the windscreen draining or is that full of water? if so this may be part of the problem and the drain for this area is usually beneath the battery and battery carrier.
