Volkswagen: VW 2002 Jetta Air Bag Warning Light, warning light, air bag

Question
My air bag light is on after I pulled some fuses. All fuses are good and working but the air bag light is still on. Did I break the are bag by pulling the fuse?

Answer
it is likely that you have mearly created a fault such as "terminal 30 low voltage", which means it thinks battery was flat. only thing i  can suggest is to dissconnect the battery for about an hour and see if it goes out afterwards, if not it will require code reading and clearing. Also note, you may need to input the radio's pin code if it is a genuine volkswagon radio. there may be a way around it if you do not know the code, but it is not 100% effective all the time. just thought i would advise you of this before you disconnect the battery. good luck.
