Volkswagen: my volks, battery cables, automatic cars

Question
I think I will start over. Car info is 1990 Jetta, Automatic. Bought car in August(drove it from Arkansas to North Carolina with no problems), drove fine for couple months. Took short trip abut 200 miles into trip stopped car and it would not crank again, messed with battery and it started. The next time it happened moving battery cables did not help, got a jump start everything was good. Had battery tested and voltage is good said the tech. Traveled away from home for hoilday(to Arkansas)when we arrived shut off the car and it would not start again for about 48 hrs. Now will start again just fine. After my first email you asked if the car was an automatic and if it would start after it cooled. Yes it did but it only took about 20-30 min. friday-sun was the longest it stayed off. I checked my lights(dim and brightness when starting) and they look good to me. Thank you so much for your time.

Answer
Here is something to try ,The automatic cars -1992 had starting problems ,  Bosch makes a kit ,called WR1, When this kit is installed it has about a 50/50 chance of working, but it is a quick fix and may fix your car. If you can not find one of these let me know and I will locate it for you.
