Volvo: 1993 Volvo 940 Power windows problem, power consumers, 1993 volvo 940

Question
About a month ago the fuse for my power windows blew, I replaced it with a new 30A fuse no problem. But it has continued to blow on a regular basis. Most recently I have been trying 25A fuses but they all blew too. In one sitting I even blew 5 fuses in a row. I haven't been having any other electrical problems (i.e. moon roof works fine, AC, lights and door locks) Is this something I can fix on my own or should I take it to a professional? Thanks for the help!

Answer
Theresa,
Since the fuse continues to blow out there is a direct short of the wiring on that system or if it shares a fuse other power consumers. All you can do is inspect the wires to find the short and repair it. Under what conditions does the fuse blow? Using a certain window, closing the door, hitting some bumps?
