Volvo: fog lights 240 1993, fog lights, rectangular holes

I have a 1993 240 Classic. Did Volvo 240s ever have fog lights ? Mine does not. Were they under the bumper or in cut out rectangular holes in the grill ?  Volvo 240 headlights aren't the brightest. Are the Bosch fog lights worth installing ? and will installation of these lights have any bad effect the notoriously finicky electrical system ?

Older 242 GT's had a grill that would allow fog lights. All the later cars you could do would be to mount them under the bumper on a bracket. I see no problem for the electrical system with fog lights. Bosch is a good quality light and a good choice for your car.
