Volvo: tranny, vacuum leaks, throttle plate

Hi Ray,I have 2 questions,first is that the tranny kicks a little harder than normal mostly when reaching 20mph and slightly when reaching 40 when it shifts.Also when starting the car it shakes then after its warm it pretty good I've done a tune up except the wires and the distributor have not been change.

If the trans has just with doing anythng to it started to shift differently, I would say the trans maybe failing. You could try a trans flush and cable adjustment.
Put a new cap rotor and wires on see if that will stop the rough running. Clogged injectors, vacuum leaks, dirty throttle plate, bad spark plugs, low compression in a cylinder all could really be at fault. Some trial and error maybe needed to find the problem.
