Hyundai Repair: A/C Compressor Problem, amp fuse, xg300

Question
I have a 2001 XG300 and the fuse for the air compressor keeps blowing.  If I place a 15 amp fuse in it run but I smell some burning.  I replaced the fuse with the 10 amp fuse again and it has blown again.  Do you think the compressor is shot?

I think  either your compressor is giving up and coil clutch having hard time to turn it.Or your coil clutch is giving up. If compressor is not making any funny noise and a/c blowing cold, try to replace the coil clutch.I do not think it will be too expensive. You do not need to recover/recharge the system nor remove the compressor to replace it.
