Volvo: 2002 Volvo s60 drivers seat and windows inop, volvo s60, 2002 volvo s60

I'm looking at a 2002 Volvo s60 and the drivers side seat is inop. I checked fuse #5 ok.  I have power to the seat module.  I also have the drivers master window switch blinks and clicks on and off like someone is plugging and unplugging it. After it blinks for 4 or 5 min. it lights up and works but no auto down or up.  Could these two problems be related?  The seat stopped first and the windows shortly after that. Thanks for any help you can bring me.

Find the rear electrical panel and see if there is a fuse for the DIM Drivers Information Module. Unplug that fuse and see if that will work. Otherwise you will need to take it in so codes can be read and tests to see if the scan tool will operate the seats and windows.
