Volvo: 1996 Volvo 960 alarm problem., 1996 volvo 960, alarm capabilities

my 1996 volvo 960's alarm will go off at random; sometimes when i start it, sometimes while driving. the hazards lights will flash or just permanently lit, the horn will beep quickly or have a constant beep, and the LED light will blink like crazy. i believed it drained my battery so i bought a new battery and hooked it up, and now the LED is lit constantly. i just want to permanently disarm the alarm or uninstall it. any idea on how to do either one?

Since the alarm is built into the central locking system and also has an alarm relay you can not really disconnect it without possibly causing other faults like the central locking system not to work.
Best bet go to a dealer and see if they can order and install a different central locking relay that has no alarm capabilities.
