Volvo: Volvo Low Beams, low beams, high beams

I have a 1999 S80.  The low beams go out sporadically.  The first time, we replaced both bulbs.  Less than a week later, they went out, but after driving with the high beams on for a short time, they came back on.  Several days later, same thing happened.  Several days later they went out again, but have not come back on.  There is moisture on the inside covers of both headlights.  Any advice?

When the bulbs go out verify that there is not any power going to the bulbs. If there is not any power test the headlight switch. There was a bulletin that was for the Can-Bus network that was showing problems with windows and some for rear lights. Call your dealer and ask if there is a fault in the system for the headlamps. I looked at what I have and nothing for headlights.
