Volvo: oil - service light, volvo v70 cross country, 1999 volvo v70

I have a 1999 Volvo V70 Cross country 115k.   The car had been sitting in the driveway for about a week and today I noticed a 6" what I think was an oil spot just between the passenger wheel and front bumper.   I drove about 1 mile and the service light came on?

You will have to look under the car to follow the leak. Front bumper area is the radiator and attached to the radiator are the trans cooling lines.
Proceed as follows to reset the service reminder indicator (SRI):
Ignition off
Press and hold in the reset button for the trip odometer
Ignition on
The service reminder indicator (SRI) starts flashing when the reset button for the trip odometer has been pressed for 10 seconds
Release the reset button for the trip odometer within 4 seconds . The instrument gives an audible signal when the reset has succeeded. The SRI indicator lamp goes out.

NOTE: If the reset button for the trip odometer is not released within 4 seconds , the light is not reset. However it will stop flashing.
