Volvo: 1995 850 turbo wagon rear door lock, door latch, turbo wagon

Question
(1) The rear door latch lock on my (1995) 850 turbo wagon is stuck in the lock position. How do to I fix this problem? I think this happened when I had the door open and hit the key fob while closing the door.
(2) What should be the resonalable cost to have the timing belt replaced on the same car, (as scheduled by the owners book for the car). Thanks in advance

First remove the panel and inspect for damage. Replace what is broken Test to see that the motor has power and will operate without the linkage hooked up.
When I do the timing belt I always replace the idler pulleys and tensioner along with the water pump, about $750.00. Any of the above items break and cause the belt to come off results in major engine damage.
