Volvo: 98 S70 T5, oxygen sensors, volvo s70

Question
I have a 98 Volvo S70 Turbo that keeps having the engine light come on and off intermintley. I plugged it into the the computer and it says that it has an emissions problem. I replaced the oxygen sensors, a sensor that the Volvo place replaced and had a smoke test done on it which came back negative. What could it be?

Answer
Austin,
You need to read the codes, they tell what system specifically is at fault. You then fault trace that system and repair as needed. Go to a shop that works on Volvo have the codes read in the Volvo format (which is more specific than generic code) and repair that system. Things like SAS, tank leakage, Evap, are some of the common emission faults.
