Volvo: oil cooler replacement?, hose clamps, head gasket

Question
I have a 2000 S70 w T5 engine.  Seems to be running great, but I noticed oil in the coolant leaking out of the expansion chamber.  The volvo dealer told me it needs a new oil cooler, hoses, and seals, flushes etc. estimate $3000+.  Is this a difficult job, I have rebuilt engines b4, but it's been awhile and nothing this new.  Could there be any other problem. They said it's not the head gasket.  Any advice?

Answer
Jay,
Replacement of the parts you asked about are just time and patients. Now the flushing of the engine will require flush machines. If you have the access then you are home free. Once you buy the parts you can see what you are in for as work. Other problems is always something to expect and plan for, just take things as they come until you get it fixed. Things like hose clamps, clips for the cooler lines seals on the lines, etc.
