Volvo: 1990 Volvo 240, volvo 240, time plug

Hi:
The fuse #12 for the Power window relay, keeps shorting out upon replacing with new fuse. I changed the relay, and still keeps blowing fuse, any suggestions where to check ?

That would suggest there is a shorted wire. So all you can do is start tracing the wires to find the short. I would start by removing the master switch to see if that would stop the short, then one switch at time plug them back in. Go to each door and do the same. All switches removed and it still blows you must trace the wires. The wires behind the center dash could have rubbed through to the relay. Could something else on that fuse be at fault?
