Volvo: 1988 volvo 740 gle (no start), volvo 740 gle, crash sensor

Question
no spark from coil ...but it has it power to both sides of coil.
no fuel pump comeing on ...but the (engine) turns over fine
i just got the car ...i was told it was backed into a tree and never ran again ..
ok question..  do these have crash sensor ? any ideals help please

No spark or pulse, that usually means the dist pick up is bad. Unplug the wire at the dist and use a test light. One terminal should have power, one is a ground the center one is the trigger, when you touch that one key on do you hear the coil spark and the a tick from the injectors? If you do the pick up is at fault.
