Volvo: Volvo 850 Cruise Control, volvo 850 turbo wagon, cruise control module

Question
Recently the cruise control on my 1996 Volvo 850 Turbo wagon stopped working.  I figured the switch to turn it on and off had gone bad and I was not looking foward to spending the money to replace that.  After reading one of your columns about a similar issue someone else had with their 850, I thought maybe the Cruise Control Module had gone out.  I've looked around online and found some decent prices on used modules.  So my question is, where does it go?  Where is the module located in the engine compartment?  Is it near the fuse box?

Answer
David,
Under the fuse box cover 101/102 is the control unit.
Most cruise problems are vacuum issuses. The vac line in between the vacuum motor, bellows and brake clutch cut off switch. It becomes brittle and or has cracks in it and will not allow vacuum to operate the bellows.
