Volvo: smoke inside the motor, high crankcase pressure, flame trap

Question
I got a 97 Volvo 960,runs excellent,the only problem it smokes through the dipstick.I did a compression test,lowest 155,highest 180,I belive it's OK.If anyone could give me an idea what's wrong,I'd appreciate it.Thank's!

Answer
Stefan,
Test for high crankcase pressure due to a clogged flame trap assembly. If in doubt about the flame trap simply replace it and see if that will stop the smoke.
Your compression test is a bit wide in range from highest to lowest, you may want to do a cylinder leakage test to verify if there is a compression loss due to an engine problem.
