Volvo: 2001 Volvo T6, voltage light, battery voltage

Hi Ray,

I recently sold my 1995 850 and bought a 2001 T6 from a friend.  
It is now in the shop because the Low battery voltage light came on (I just had a new battery put in) it may be the alternator...

I get very mixed reviews as to whether I made a mistake about buying this car.

Should I look to sell it.  I do like it (so far anyway), but
am not rich (so a high repair bill would not be a good
thing).

I have heard a number of complaints, but now I am in the business so all I hear about are the cars that have some problems. Those cars have not been out long enough to really see how well they hold up. Keep the car for a while and see how it works out you can always sell it if things go bad.
