Volvo: Milky brown coolant, volvo s80 t6, blown head gasket

Question
I have a 2000 Volvo S80 T6 and my coolant level low message has popped up but when I look at my coolant, it full.  But it is not clear or greenish yellow like regular coolant, it is a milky brown.  Not sure if it is a radiator or hose problem at this point.

Answer
Carl,
That most likely means there is coolant mixing with the engine oil or trans fluid. You have either a radiator internal leak at the oil or trans cooler, or a blown head gasket. You will have to take the car in for some diagnosis and inspection to see what and where the failure is.
