Volvo: Buying 1992 Volvo 940GL 200K mi ?, volvo 940gl, volvo repair

I'm considering buying a 92 940 from a Volvo repair shop that does good work on my wife's volvo . The car is a trade in from one of their customers. They have updated all the basic items and checked everything. Drives fine to me - one thing that doesn't work is the sunroof -- do you know the general cost to fix that? I'm not sure exactly what is wrong but would if the entire motor is shot on the sunroof - can you give an estimate to replace? Visually the roof looks fine and it is in the closed position. The car has 210K miles. They are asking $2800.

The price sounds high to me. The sun roof should work if I was to pay that price. I have used motors for $50.00. If there are other things that are wrong with the sun roof like rear gates in the area of $400.00.
To replace a motor $70.00 labor and the $50.00 for the motor.
