Volvo: Volvo S-70 rear window, volvo s 70, window switches

My rear drivers side window has stopped in the down position. I have the electric windows. Could both drivers door and rear door switch go at once, could the motor go or are there sensors to know that the window is down or up be out of position?

The Volvo window switches for the S/V70's have had problems. Usually the master switch is at fault. About $135.00. Are the rear window switches in the "on" position, via the master switch? Motors do not often go bad. No sensors to tell you what and where that problem is. It will take some time to trace out the fault.
