Volvo: SC-815 Radio/CD/Cassette, radio cd cassette, haynes repair manuals

Question
My 1996 850 GLT originally had an SC-811 (no CD player only changer).  As a surprise (!?)someone had my factory radio replaced with an aftermarket product.  I recently purchased a SC-815 from a 1994 960 that supposedly is interchangable.  The technician who installed the aftermarket butchered the harness and completely cut off the 10 pin connector.  I thought I was lucky that the factory radio I purchased came complete with harness and connectors.  PROBLEM: the wires are not the same colors !  I found a wiring diagram from a 1995 schematic however the colors in the connector currently do not match the wiring diagram.  Where do I turn??? Do I need a schematic for both the SC-811 and SC-815....if yes, where can I find them?? ~ THANKS

Answer
Marlene,
Yon may need the wire diagrams for both radios. I am not sure that you will find all you wires. Is it possible to get a good photo of the remaining wires so a salvage could try to match up the connector that was cut from your car.
Maybe your local dealer can supply a copy of the wore diagrams. Some Haynes repair manuals have wire diagrams that will work.
