Volvo: Volvo S40, 2004, volvo s40 2004, radio antenna

Question
I just got my first Volvo, S40 model, 27,000 miles and I have couple of questions: 1) When radio antenna opens up or closed down at both end it makes three clicks, is that normal? 2) Is there a button/function that changes display of a electronic panel from British to Metric system (miles to km; gal/miles to liter/100km etc)?
3) I was recently on the trip with grandparents.  There were five of us in the car.  It's seems that a rear suspension (springs) could not handle that much load, once in the while on the bumps I could hear tire scrubbing something, is that normal for Volvo they can not hold much of load?

Answer
Paul,
Without hearing the noise that the antenna makes, hard to say. My guess it's normal most seem to ratchet a couple of times before it stops.
The display is changeable, you'll need the dealer to use the VIDA scanner and set the things you want changed.
Perhaps the weight that was in the car was maxing it out. Don't forget the car is rather small and loaded hitting large bumps that does happen. Have some weight suppoerting springs and shocks installed.
