Volvo: abs, c board, c unit

had a problem with the trac + abs lights coming on intermitently, changed the back sensors, and still it has not fixed the situation. have taken the control unit off as this is usualy at fault, do =you know how to fix the prob apart from bying a new one, can this be fixed by resolder or any other means

Not sure of the type of vehicle you have, but would say 850 or S/V70. The control units in those cars has had many problems. The P/C board in the Control unit cracks and makes poor contact. If you are able to remove and repair that board good, other wise replace the C/unit.
