Volvo: 2000 s70 ignition key stuck, safety cable, safety switch

Question
A friends key was stuck in her ignition so she had volvo change the assembly. It has become stuck again. I pulled the nuetral safety cable out of the back of the ignition and the key comes out.If I click the cable all the way back in the key will get stuck again. Do you think it might need another ignition or a new nuetral safety switch?

Answer
Ken,
There is a very good chance that there is an adjustment that can be made to the cable allowing it to allow you to remove the key. If the shifter can not be pushed all the way to park then the cable will not pull in on the switch so the key can be removed.
