How can I check the automatic transmission oil in Volvo S60?

Make sure that the car is warmed up and on a level surface. Car running pull out the dip stick and read it for hot fluid. Check twice to be sure. The stick is way down low on the trans, make sure that you push it all the way down for an accurate reading. Oil grade: Only automatic transmission fluid, Volvo P/N 1161540-8 (1-liter container) may be used.
