Volvo: 2002 XC70 driver door lock--remove door panel, triangle plate, xc70

Hi Paisan, my XC70 driver door remains locked from the inside--handle does not work; pls tell me how to remove panel to take a look.

Also you need to pry off the trim over the interior door opening handle..

In the interior grab handle there is a small plastic plate pull that and remove the screw. Remove the triangle plate by the mirror. Using a door panel tool get behind the panel at the lower edge and pry it away keeping the tool around the clip as you pry. Lift up on the panel and remove it from the window edge, unplug the wires to the switch pack.
