Volvo: a/c or heat not blowing air, failure rate, power stage

Question
I receive a car that damage on the right side of frontend. The damage reach as far as the firewall.It has been repaired. During the repairing the body shop notice the canister above the blower was crack and replaced it. I removed the glove box and turn on the fan switch. The heard the switch engage behind the climate control but no noise from the blower area. Do you think the blower was damage also or is there a switch or relay for it. Thanks

Not sure of what model car you have, but most have the ability of posting fault codes. There is in most cases a power stage for blower motor speed that have a high failure rate. The blower motors also fail, and being there was damage there is a great possibilty of failure/breakage.
