Volvo: ABS Light, weird noise, turning corners

I have a 98 S70T, my ABS light comes on and off while driving.When brakes are applied I get a pulsating feeling under the brake pedal usually while driving under 30 miles per hour.  I've recently heard a weird noise as well while turning corners.  I had a local repair shop diagnose my car they informed me that I needed a new ABS Core- had the repairs done. $743.00 later the problems still exist, do you think my car problem was misdiagnose?  Thanks/ Hazel

I think that there is still a problem however without knowing what codes lead to the replacement of the ABS control unit it is hard to tell. Now I do know that if the control unit they used was of low quality it could still be the problem. Tell me what code(s) are now in the system so I can tell perhaps what is wrong.
