Volvo: water coming inn, volvo v70, c drain

hi there,
i have a volvo v70 d5 2003 model(im in the uk) i have water coming inn the rear left hand side passenger footwell,carpets are soaking wet all the time and i dont know where its coming from.i thought the door seal and asked a body shop to help but they dont know weather it is and would not sell me apart and waste my money if it s not
please can you help me on this?

There is only one way to find the leak. Have someone inside the car and another person hose the car down. Sometimes removing seats and panels help identify the area that is leaking.
Could this water be from a leaking heater core? Is the water sweet smelling or have a bitter taste? Is the A/C drain clear and not leaking inside the car?
