Hi There,
I have an s80 volvo, a message with break failure stop car immediately, and then another message service transmission next stop!!! can you help as the car wont start now..

The brake failure means there is a fault in the system. Have it checked for where the problem lies. It could be just in need of brake pads or a fluid leak, bad master cylinder, or caliper.
The trans should have some fault codes to read and those may lead to the fault. If the gear position sensor is at fault that will keep the car from starting. Time to have it towed.
