Volvo: ignition coil, coil resistance, volvo 244

i have a 1982 Volvo 244 gl.  i need to know what the voltage is supposed to be going into the coil from the battery?  and if there is a resistor where is it located on the car?

There is a resistor. That should be mounted on the right side shock tower area. It will regulate the voltage at 10.5 volts.

Coil Resistance between terminals 1(-) and 15(+)  1.2 ±0.1 ohms

Resistance between terminals 1(-) and HT  8.5K ±0.8K ohms
