Volvo: repair, oil drip, window switches

Question
I have purchased a 1998 V90 with 133K miles.
I have several concerns perhaps you can help me with.

A/C blows out defroster and floor, as does the heat, but very little out the air ventws no matter where the selector is placed.

brake light on the right rear works great, but on left rear, it does not get brighter as I apply the brake.  switched bulbs and problem persists.
voltage is greater on right side than left when pedal is depressed.

oil drip from engine onto exhaust?  drops on concrete drive and when driving it really stinks, but no visible smoke.  main rear seal?  hope not, beyond my skill set, how much?

rear power windows  go down from master control, but not up, only by individual controls.

Thanks!

Answer
Barry,
The vent issue, have someone test the vacuum that operates those vacuum pods under the dash. If that is ok I would suspect the control head is not sending out the needed commands to the vents.

The bulb socket plate must have quit working and will not apply the power. Test the wires that run to the wire plate.

I would say the rear main seal. While in there also replace the front trans pump seal. I charge about $500.00 unless there are more needed parts.

Power window switches are bad and will require replacement.
