Volvo: Lights dont flash when locking/unlocking car, alarm relay, fuse

I've noticed that when I use the remote to either lock or unlock the car, the outside lights do not flash [either once or twice] as an indication of the function. Is they're anything I should be doing [change fuse?] with out going in for service?  V70 model.  Thank you

I would say that there is a problem with the alarm relay and or the light relay or wiring to them. There will need to be some tests done to determine where the problem lies. If the lights not flashing becomes of importantace to you get to a dealer to have it checked out.
