Volvo: 91 740 runs rough when cold, vacuum leaks, wire harness

Question
I have a 91 740 non-turbo.  The car runs incredibly rough when first started and sputters when accelerating.  After about 3 miles, the car runs fine.  The wires and plugs were changed about 8 months ago.  I'd appreciate any direction on this.

Thanks!

Answer
Mike,
Try to see if you can narrow the rough running to a cylinder that is not firing when cold. See witch exhasut runner is getting as hot as the rest, that would be the one that is not firing. Have you also replace the cap and rotor? See if all the injectors are plugged in and that the wire harness is good. When the car warms up does it run well or is low on power? Maybe the fuel pressure is too low. Also test to make sure that there are no vacuum leaks at the throttle hosuing and the intake manifold.
