how many miles before a drive belt needs changing?

I am not sure of the vehicle you have. Here in the U.S. we have 940's up to 96 those on a very late model are changes at 100K or 5/6 years. That is the B230FD engine. Older ones that use a B230F/FT are done at 50K. 98 S/V70's have a replacement of 70K... Do you have an engine type that I can trace and see what the Manufacture recommends? Year and engine will help.
