Volvo: Battery problem, v70 volvo, battery problem

Question
I have a 1998 V70 Volvo 2.5L turbo.  I have replaced the battery twice in two years because it gets drained after one year.  I took it to a mechanic and he told me that the battery has no draw and that the battery is deffective.  He also told me that I should get a stronger battery.  How should I proceed about this?  I have a warranty on my existing battery and I am going to replace it.

Answer
Hello! What type of battery is in the car now? It should have a 48 series battery. You should be able to get credit towards a new battery if the warranty allows it. If you can give me more info on the type and brand of battery, I can help you better.
