Answer
Kimi, U.S. production E65 window regulator replacement is difficult and requires a few special tools. I would recommend taking it to a dealer. If you can hear the motor run at all then the most likely cause is a broken window regulator (lifter mechanism). You must disconnect the airbag and on the U.S. model doing so will illuminate the airbag light whether you have the key on or not. But as you requested here are the instructions. Removeing the negative battery terminal before working on any BMW airbag system has to be done for safety to eliminate remote possibility of deploying door airbag. The airbag is attached to the door. Remove screw cover on inner door handle trim and remove torx screw (T-20?). Lever out both caps on armrest trim and remove torx screws (T-30?). Pry out "Airbag" logo cover and release screw. Remove screw cover and screw by air channel at front of door. Using flat wide pry tool pry off door panel starting at bottom. While holding panel carefully pry back of airbag connector up then remove. Pull door handle cable (white) off back of door handle from cable side. Remove top connector from Door module by pressing tap and pushing lock bale forward. Good luck.
