Volvo: 94 VOLVO STARTS ONLY IN TYHE MORNING, fuel pressure gauge, crank shaft

Question
My 1994 Volvo would only start in the morning once. If I turn the engine off, it has to stay there until next day. The engine crank normally
but would not start. The crank shaft sensor, the coil and other parts were changed but nothing happened. Still the same. There is gas on the combustion.

Please help
Thank you

Answer
Ralph,
What if any codes are stored? Do you have spark and fuel when it will not start? Fuel pump, suppression relays and the power stage are common things that go out in these cars. You can replace these if you haven't in the past. It is easiest to install a fuel pressure gauge and see if when it will not start you loose pressure. Is your vehicle equipted with Regina / Rex fuel ignition system? They have some fuel pump problems. You may need a tech to help sort out the problems.
