Volvo: c70 turbo convertible, turbo volvo, warranty companies

Do you know if c70 turbo volvo convertibles have a lot of repair issues as I am considering purchasing an extended warranty from warrantydirect.  I am considering the secure care with emission coverage or the major care plan.  Since you are the expert and I certainly am not, can you give me advice on which is the best?  Also do you know if there is a site that I could go to that will compare auto warranty companies and tell me which to absolutely stay away from and which are the best and the easiest for your repair shop to work with.  I really need some advice soon as I am to call warrantydirect back Monday.  Thank you advance for your prompt response to my questions.

i don't like warranty plans because they usually cover all the parts that never break down, if your buying this car i would have it checked out by a mechanic instead before signing anything.  if the warranty doesn't cost more than 700. or so i think it might be ok , if you fell better about having one.
