Volvo: vovle 850 1993 gtl non turbo, throttle switch, winter mode

My 1993 vovle 850 gtl 146000 miles will not go more then 5 miles an hour.. the dealer said it was converter , changed,was not it.. the canster was broken i changed it , that was not it, change the fuel filter that was not it.. my reach- searched has taken me to the part of throttle switch was wonding if that could be it, the mode w light did come on but no longer light what due you think.. my car can not go over 5 miles an hour feels like something is pluged.

You will need to get the car to someone that has worked on Volvo's in the past. There are so many things that will need to be tested. Fuel pressure, back pressure in the exhaust, wheather the spark is strong. Also have the car checked for codes, that may leed to the problem. Is the trans not engaging properly or low on fluid, is it in winter mode? So much to test, time for a shop to get involved in the diagnosis. That is one that a tech will need to test drive and follow the clues. Sorry there is no short answer.
