Volvo: v70 2000 w reg 140 bhp, last legs, auto box

thinking about purchasing a v70 140 2000 w reg.200,000 miles,with s/h 90% of which is main dealer.its got an auto box,full leather,has recently had a throttle body,within the last month,anything i should be looking  out for.My 850 is on its last legs.
the asking price is £2550.any advice is much appreciated

What is a very good idea is to find a shop that specializes in Volvo's and bring the car there to have things inspected. You have the front and rear suspension that wears out, the brakes, leaks in the engine and driveline, have these checked. See how muck you will need to spend to get that car in top condition. If you have seen service records, and all maintenance has been done the car looks and drives out fine then go for it.
Don't go blindly into it, you may be sorry, have the car inspected.
