Volvo: Optima Battery for 92 240, bungie cord, wire tie

Hi, I have a new Optima Red25 battery that I would like to use in my 1992 240GL. Is this battery compatible with this application? Thanks

Yes that is a fine battery and I use one myself. You may have to find an alternate way of securing the battery, since the Optima usually does not have the same hold down area as your Volvo style battery. A large plastic wire tie or bungie cord have been some of the tie downs I have seen.
