Volvo: My 96 Volvo 960 is stuck in park..., volvo 960, shift lock

I can't get it out of the park position.  This has never happened before, I went out to go to work and it wouldn't move. I would really appreciate the help!

Check the shift lock. Look in your book, it will tell you about the over ride. It is a buttom that you will have to push at the same time as shifting out of park. The button is there right by the shifter look carefully. The fuse may have blown out rendering the shift lock inop. Check the fuses.
