Volvo: key copy, volvo s80, 1999 volvo s80

I recently purchased a 1999 volvo s80 and it only came with one key.  I'm having problems trying to get someone to make a copy.  everywhere I go they tell me They can't do it.  Can you tell me where I can get another key made at and also where can I find a owners manual for my car.  I have so many buttons and no idea what some are for.         thank you

Hello Kim! You need to visit a Volvo dealer or a Volvo specialist. The key is only available through Volvo. It is coded to your car through the VIN number. Also, there is a transponder in the key that will need to be programmed to the car. The transponder sends a signal to start the car. If it is not programmed, the car will not start.  Go to www.volvotechinfo.com for an owners manual.
