Volvo: volvo 850 keyless remote programing, volvo 850, 1995 volvo 850

I just bought a used 1995 volvo 850 and it has a factory alarm. I then bought a keyless entry for it from a volvo dismanter and I was wondering how to program it? Thanks very much!

Hello! First check the part number with a local dealer. Make sure it is correct. To progam it, get in the car, close all doors. Turn the key off and on 5 times,do not start the car. On the 5th turn leave the ignition on and press the lock and unlock buttons.
